Tap 24.7 is currently creating its 8th annual show, "Murder at the TAP'Ocho." A super fun "whodunnit" murder mystery! Shows will be touring in Phoenix, Seattle, and Detroit in 2019!
We are casting for our shows and looking for intermediate through advanced tap dancers ages 9-adult. There will be several live auditions for each city; if you are unable to make those, you can audition via video for any of our cities!
This is for the tap dancer that wants more tap in their life! They want to learn from incredible master tap teachers and choreographers and improve their tap and performance skills.

With over 30 years in the entertainment business, along with an extensive on-camera and voiceover resume, Suzy is the director of Tap 24.7. Currently she is the show director for Amp Dance Competitions, judges for Spotlight Dance Cup and In10sity Dance; teaches for Motor City Tap Fest, Wing It Tap Intensive, Phoenix Tap Fest and Commercial Dance Intensive. Other teaching credits include Tap Unplugged, Tap University, Tap Into the Network and Spotlight Dance Cup. She is on the dance faculty as the tap teacher at Grand Canyon University and teaches at Bender Performing Arts, The Dance Project, and Take Five in Phoenix. She is thrilled where the future of Tap 24.7 is headed since its creation in 2004, and is excited to take on this new year of shows and all of the tap dancers it will inspire!
Kelsey is on faculty with Showstopper conventions, Fuzion dance camp, and Motor City Tap Fest. She is the director and lead choreographer for the pre-professional tap company – Detroit Tap Repertory, as well as director of Wing It Tap Intensive. She is a member of Shelby Kaufman’s tap company, G.L.Y.D.E.. Kelsey recently performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as part of the DSO Educational Series and was a guest speaker at the Moving With Detroit seminar for dance educators. In 2015, she was a contestant on the FOX Network's So You Think You Can Dance - Season 12, advancing to the Vegas round.
Brendan, an up and coming tap phenom from Tucson, Arizona. He most recently performed at the Kennedy Center in New York City as the featured tap dancer with the Tucson Jazz Institute in a tribute to Bill Robinson. Brendan has been on faculty for the past two years at Wing it Tap Intensive, Phoenix Tap Fest, and Motor City Tap Fest. He has also been seen performing with Phoenix-based tap company, Tap 24.7 since 2012. His work has been selected to perform in the Big Apple Tap Festival and the Motor City Tap Festival. Most recently, Brendan was seen competing at the World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany; where his choreography placed 4th in the world.
Rachel is originally from Fort Collins, Colorado. She moved to Phoenix in 2015 where she now teaches and choreographs for several studios around the valley. Her choreography has won multiple overall awards. Rachel has been performing with Tap 24.7 for the past 4 years and also is an assistant teacher for Grand Canyon University, and Wing It Tap Intensive. She has performed for Motor City Tap Fest, Phoenix Tap Fest, and Dancinspiration. Last season she choreographed her first piece for TAPspeak in Detroit and has several pieces this year in the 2019 show. She also is working for Spotlight Dance Cup this year as stage manager. Rachel is so excited to be on this amazing journey and can't wait to see what the future holds!
Charlie DuHadway is a dancer, teacher, & choreographer from Michigan. He is a full time dance teacher at his home studio, a stage manager for Spotlight Dance Cup and is a member and choreographer for Tap24.7. Charlie has been a proud member of Tap 24.7 for three years under the direction of Suzy Hall and has participated as a main character in the touring show TapSpeak and current running show Murder at The Tap'Ocho. In August 2018, Charlie won the young choreographers challenge at Motor City Tap Fest. Teaching, growing, and sharing his love for tap dance via Tap24.7 is incredible and he couldn’t be more thankful for the wonderful people and amazing opportunities.
Sarah Boice is from Tucson, Arizona and grew up dancing at Danswest Dance. From a young age, she loved tap dancing. She began working with Tap 24.7 at the age of 17 by participating in their very first tap show. Now she is a member of the company and has been tap dancing more than ever, performing for Motor City Tap Fest and Phoenix Tap Fest. She is also proud to be choreographing for their shows along with teaching at TAPapalooza. Along with tap dancing with the company, she teaches tap dance once a week at Gravity & Grace Dance.
Jenefer is a tap dancer, choreographer, director, and producer. Faculty credits include Motor City Tap Fest, Phoenix Tap Fest, St Louis Tap Fest, Circle City Tap Fest, Portland Tap Fest, Nexus Dance Conventions, and Tap Into the Network. She is the producer of Phoenix Tap Fest, and Just West of Broadway. She founded and was director for the Kyrene Community Theater, was the director of Thunder Theater Company, and now is the resident director for Studio 111 Theater Company. She was also the proud recipient of the Oakland University Matilda Award for Alumni Achievement in Dance. She currently teaches at Dancers Domain in Scottsdale.
Jeffrey Bird, Jr. is thrilled to be joining Tap24.7 for the third time in Murder at the Tap’ocho! He was featured in TAPspeak Phoenix and TAPspeak Detroit in 2018 as the World Traveler. Jeffrey hails from Indianapolis where he works as a freelance professional actor, dancer, and choreographer. He is also an actor/interpreter at the Indiana Historical Society. He holds a BA in Theatre and a BA in History from Butler University in Indianapolis and is currently earning his MA in US History from IUPUI. In 2015 he joined the Circle City Tap Company and currently serves as the Pre-Professional Company Director.
Raised in the Chicagoland area, Chrissy Jones currently resides in Tucson, AZ. She studied Astrophysics at the University of Arizona and currently works as an engineer, while continuing to teach tap dance at local studios.. Chrissy appeared live on the WTTW (PBS) television production called “Center Stage: Arts Across Illinois,” as well as a Warner Brothers’ “Happy Feet” movie promotional, Savion Glover's "Bare Sounds" promotional, "Juba!" at the Jay Pritzker Pavillion and Museum of Contemporary Art, and numerous other professional venues. In 2007, the Peoples Republic of China funded her performances at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Beijing. Chrissy was a rehearsal director of Footprints Tap Ensemble for five years, and teaches in Tucson at Dance Force One.
Kiana has been dancing at Bender Performing Arts since the age of 3 and competed with their dance company, Dance Motion. At the age of 16, she started subbing tap classes and doing choreography. She has been a main character in the Tap 24.7 shows for the past several years and was honored to do choreography for the past 2 years. In addition to the shows, she has performed for Motor City Tap Fest, Phoenix Tap Fest, several benefit shows including Dancinspiration. She is planning on attending Arizona State University in the fall studying Biology.
Beverly has over 20 years of teaching experience in tap, jazz, and ballet including 16 years at Parker Academy of Dance in Parker, CO, where she was the director of the tap program. She co-directed Colorado Dance Coalition which served the Colorado dance community though the production of master classes. She was the personal teaching assistant to Robert L Reed for the Colorado Chapter of the St Louis Hoofer's Club. She choreographed "Oklahoma" and "Guys and Dolls" for the Parker Theater Company. She recently competed for Team USA at the IDO World Tap Dance 2018 Championships where she earned a silver medal.
Adi grew up in Minooka, IL, where she started dance at the age of 2. Growing up, she continued to dance competitively and train in many styles. She attended Minooka Community High School where she was on the varsity dance team for four years. Currently, Adi is a freshman at Arizona State
University and Barrett, the Honors College with a major in biomedical
engineering. She is also a member of the ASU Dancing Devils dance team. She is very grateful for the opportunity to continue to dance in college as well as perform with
Abby is from Orange County. She began her dance career at Hart Academy of Dance and then moved on to attend college at Washington State University where she was part of their dance team for 3 years. She graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Business Administration and is now a full time dance teacher/choreographer at Sanctuary Dance Company in Pullman, WA. Abby is excited to have performed with Tap 24.7 at Motor City Tap Fest and is looking forward to being part of the tap show this year!

Gregg is an Emmy nominated choreographer and has worked with such stars as: Bette Midler, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers, Michael Jackson, Gregory Hines, and Kenny Ortega. He directed a commercial for Carvel Ice Cream, and has also performed with numerous music artists: Reba McEntire, Sugar Ray, The B-52‘s and Jason Mraz.
Gregg danced in a national Volkswagon commercial portraying Donald O’conner, and performed on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”. He also performed and choreographed on the TV shows “Mobbed”, “America’s Got Talent”, and “Live to Dance” hosted by Paula Abdul. He most recently performed at Madison Square Garden’s home opener for the New York Knicks, choreographed for the Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles, and danced on the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards.
He currently is hosting/producing “Tap Into the Network” intensives, channeling 7 different cities throughout the U.S., directing his tap company Tap Sounds Underground into their 16th season, and choreographing for the Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles.
Karen Callaway Williams, an original member of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble and its first Dance Captain, is currently featured on the cover of Flow Magazine Summer Issue. She can be seen in the current documentary Been Rich All My Life (The Story of the Silver Belles). Broadway credits include Tony Award Nominated Duke Ellington musical PlayOn and the international phenomenon Riverdance-On Broadway of which she was the first African American female tap dancer and dance captain. A special quest artist on Sesame Street she was also interviewed in Bojangles the Legacy for Showtime. Karen tours nationally and internationally with Tap City in Tour and Tap Tel Aviv.Other credits include Essence Magazine, Dance Magazine, and performances at the Cotton Club and the Apollo. She has been a quest tap soloist for several orchestras including The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Toronto Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati PopsLook for the upcoming release of her first children’s book “Gabriella’s Tap Shoes”.
